Privacy Policy
Studies is a private workspace that Ariel Agur runs for the collaborators on his research studies. It is not open to the public. Only people Ariel has added to a study can sign in, and each person sees only the studies they were added to.
What we receive when you sign in
You sign in with your Google account. Google tells the app your email address, and may also share your name. Nothing else about your Google account is requested, and the app cannot see your email, files, or contacts.
How it is used
- To check which studies you may open.
- To record who made a change, when you mark a paper, write a note, or change a task status in a study you belong to.
Your email address is not used for anything else. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone outside the study, apart from Google as the provider that hosts the app.
Where it is kept
A study's marks and notes, with the email address of the person who made each change, are kept in a file in Ariel Agur's Google Drive. The app runs on Google Cloud, which keeps standard request logs for a limited time. Study collaborators can see the marks and notes in the studies they share.
Your choices
To stop using Studies, ask Ariel to remove you from a study. To have the record of your changes removed or anonymized, write to the address below.
